We are seeking a Technical Writer to provide program level support in coordination with our clients and internal processes. The Technical Writer will be responsible for coordinating deliverables for various clients and overall project quality control. Candidate tasking will include development of documentation; editing and quality control of internal and client deliverables; and gathering and disseminating information and documentation among clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all weekly deliverables are QA/QC and then delivered to the appropriate clients
  • Support the Managed Security Technical Division with documentation, writing, and all error-checking tasks
  • Must be able to engage team and clients in program evaluation and implementation of program level requirements
  • Provide weekly or as-needed project updates to clients and supervisors.
  • Assist with template creation/editing per contract obligations established by the client and/or organization
  • You will use a variety of authoring tools to edit for grammar, technical content, usability, legal and production purposes
  • Fast pace environment that will require you to quickly grasp technical concepts and document these clearly at any audience level
  • Learn a given task under proper supervision, and then work independently on those tasks

  • Candidate must have 5+ years of experience in the related field
  • You will use a variety of authoring tools to edit for grammar, technical content, usability, legal and production purposes
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a US Citizen - Background check will be conducted
  • Must be able to function independently and require minimal supervision after training period
  • Candidate must have intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite products, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructures, documentation, project planning
  • Candidate should have strong organizational skills, and be able to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously
  • Candidate should demonstrate the ability and desire to accept responsibility and take initiative, and have a strong commitment for meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work a reliable and dependable schedule

Minimum Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • The following certifications (more than one is preferred): Lunarline, Inc. School of Cyber Security “Certified Expert” certifications, Security+, CEH, Network+, CAP, or SANS security certification
