Lunarline, Inc. is hiring a Junior, Mid, and Senior Security Analyst.  We are looking for an enthusiastic professional with 4+ years of hands-on experience in performing and/or participating in FISMA and NIST Security Assessments, Privacy Assessments, Continuous Monitoring, and/or Authorization activities. The major areas directed are:
  • Responsible for monitoring of security events from all the various sensors and agents, providing analysis and correlation, provide situational awareness level reports and trending reports.
  • Responsible for detection, triage, initial investigation, and response, and reporting.  
  • Coordinates and responds to events on all of the monitored networks and the systems on those networks.
  • Develops skills, sources, and methods to provide the best possible cyber defense capability to protect IT assets from all manner of cyber threats, attacks, and exploitation.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on all cyber defense issues.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Candidate must hold an Active Top Secret clearance.
  • 4+ years of experience in performing and/or participating in FISMA and NIST security assessments, continuous monitoring, and/or authorization activities
  • Expert-level knowledge of FISMA, NIST RMF, and NIST SP 800-series publications
  • Privacy Experience
  • Experience with FedRAMP is a plus
  • Experience with CDM tools
  • Exposure to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and related terminology as it relates to Information Security/Information Assurance.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in an independent manner or as part of a team
  • Able to write and talk about technical security issues in a clear, concise manner
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Minimum Education and Certifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
  • The following certifications (more than one is preferred): Lunarline, Inc. School of Cyber Security “Certified Expert” certifications.

  • Client sites in the Sterling, VA
