System Hardening Engineer

Lunarline is looking for a System Hardening Engineer who understands the industry standards including but not limited to: DISA, NIST 800 Series, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Benchmarks, Vendor Best practice documentation and other platform specific documentation.
  • Deep understanding of ports, protocols, and services and their interactions within systems
  • Ability to methodically secure and harden enterprise level systems and platforms
  • Ability to understand the effects and application of policy on enterprise critical systems
  • Deep understanding and established methodologies of securing technologies in all layers of the OSI Layer
  • Ability to identify unnecessary processes and functions of a given system or platform
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical knowledge and translate to business leadership
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge effectively through writing
Minimum Education and Certifications
  • BA/BS in a related field (Can substitute no degree and 5+ years related work)
  • The following certifications (more than one is preferred): Lunarline, Inc. School of Cybersecurity “Certified Expert” certifications.
