IT Support Lead

Lunarline is looking for a motivated IT Support Lead! The IT Support Lead will assist users with computer related problems. Requests will be received via email, telephone, or personal visit. The Support Lead will also be in charge of utilizing and overseeing others on the remote desktop support our office provides. A candidate must be able to respond to user requests as well as prioritize, track, report, and analyze requests. The tasks required include assisting users, creating and maintaining administrative user training and help documentation; and troubleshooting and diagnosing problems. This position also provides briefing/presentations support including video projectors and laptops setup, and software help as needed, for meetings. High familiarity with computer systems, applications, virtual machines, firewalls, servers, and related technology is a must. Support tasks include on-site and remote support through Bomgar for other Lunarline staff, installation and testing of hardware and software, inventory, system customization, and much more.

  • Must be excellent with Windows and Windows Server 2012 administration
  • Computer issue resolution/troubleshooting
  • Networking and firewall experience
  • Good writing/communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision after training period
  • Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration experience
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Windows PC hardware and software and Help Desk support. Must have experience in user support for office automation software and hardware.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office back office support, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows, Adobe Acrobat
  • Must have demonstrated Help Desk experience in user support and customer service supported on computer applications and platforms.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in providing technical support, deployment, configuration and installation of desktop computers.
  • Must have experience in performing hardware diagnostics and coordinating repairs.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in installing and testing desktop computers, printers, and other peripherals; configuring operating systems, and application software packages.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in coordinating technical activities for supported users.
  • Must have experience configuring Routers, Switches, Firewalls and Cabling.
Minimum Education and Certifications
  • BA or BS degree
  • Preferred Major: Computer Science, Computer Networks, and Cybersecurity; or equivalent
  • The following certifications (preferred): Lunarline, Inc. School of Cyber Security “Certified Expert” certifications, Security+ and Network+
